A Bum’s Life

Posted by Eman on February 26, 2008

Well I haven’t been doing anything progressive for some time now. I’ve been bumming around every single day. Well you can’t blame me. We’ve just finished our Midterm week so forgive me for spending some time to relax for a bit.

I’m not a bum(I think?). I just think that I have too much time in my hands. (well it’s because I’ve just shifted my course from BSECE to BSIT.) And my subjects this term are all minor ones. Maybe that’s the reason why I have too much time. And honestly, I think that my subjects are not that challenging. Who could blame me? I’ve been an ECE student for 3 years and compared to the subjects I have before, well, let’s just say I could relax now.

I’ve been alone in the house for 3 days now, and honestly, I LIKE IT! It’s because my mom went to Bohol with my sister and my brother went somewhere. And since I’m alone, no one would tell me what to do. I like it. This way I could get used to living my life as a bachelor. I’m officially a KATUGA (KAin, TUlog, GAla) these past 3 days. I’ve been doing nothing but to eat, sleep, watch TV, play computer games, and go to school(this is the “gala” part). But I also clean our house so that when my mom and brother comes back I wouldn’t get scolded and end up being grounded.

Ahh. This is the life! It feels like heaven! Too bad it ends today. Because my mom and brother are coming home today.

Radioactive Sago Project – Tangina Mo Andaming Nagugutom Sa Mundo, Fashionista Ka Pa Rin

Posted by Eman on February 22, 2008

Radioactive Sago Project’s third and latest album “Tanginamo Andaming Nagugutom Sa Mundo, Fashionista Ka Pa Rin” has a distinct effect on every listener not only due to the “UNIQUE” title but also for the songs included in the album. The band is popular because of their unique style which is always seen in their previous albums. Vocalist Lourd De Veyra calls his style of singing as “Spoken Word”. Although the name of the album obviously talks about world issues, the band claims that the issues weren’t their inspiration for this album. The band said that they were just returning to their musical influences or their so-called “Roots”. The album includes the songs “Alak, Sugal, Kape, Babae, Kabaong”, “Bisikleta”, “For Adult’s Only” and many more. If you’re a Sago Fan, you should definitely get a copy of this album.

My Rating
Packaging: 8
Content: 8 (Although the songs are nonsense.I can relate to it.)

YFC – FEU – East Asia College’s Youth Camp 2008

Posted by Eman on February 22, 2008

Last January 11-13, 2008, we held our 1st Youth Camp for the year. Well, who would have thought that we could facilitate a very successful Youth Camp even if we didn’t have enough time to prepare for it. Well honestly, I admit that I didn’t even attend the YCT (Youth Camp Training). So in short, I came to the camp unprepared. But it turned out to be that I was the one who is assigned to cook our food and at the same time, be the Music Min.

We encountered a lot of problems during the camp. But we didn’t lose hope. We knew that God wanted the camp to happen and he trusted us to be the Service Team in that camp. We knew that God will help us overcome the problems we had during the camp.

Let me just cite some of the problems we had there.

1. We arrived late at the venue that’s why we didn’t start the camp on time.

2. Only few attended the camp so we had a little problem facilitating. We had few Service Team.

3. A big factor. MONEY.

It’s really true that God works in mysterious ways because even if we weren’t that prepared we still did a good job. (I think.)

Congratulations to the New Babies of YFC – FEU – East Asia College!

Steven(Girl), KC(Lyne), Kaye(Ate), Ellie(Sugat), and Angelica(Monique)

From a Jester’s Point of View. . .

Welcome to my little corner in the big world of the net.

Well, to tell the truth I have never considered blogging even until now.

But circumstances change. Everthing does. It just seems like I have too much time in my hands.

So I made this blog to, well, I have no reason really. But I hope that you will be entertained in reading things that are out of this world.
